Today's Game

This evening, the Bisons take on the Toledo Mud Hens for the second game of the three game series at Third Fifth Field. This continues a nine-day road trip against Toledo, Columbus, and Lehigh Valley. The Herd will then return home as the Buffalo Wings June 14-17 as they host the Rochester Plates.

Last Game: BUF 7 TOL 8

RHP Taylor Guerrieri made his fifth start of the season allowing 7H, 6R, 4ER, 1BB, and 1SO in his 3.2 IP. Buffalo took an early 6-2 lead in the second inning with doubles by OF Dwight Smith Jr. and C Danny Jansen and a single by INF Jason Leblebijian. After a 10 inning battle with the Mud Hens, the Herd fell short and looks to bounce back tonight.

Today's Starter: RHP Chris Rowley

RHP Chris Rowley is making his tenth start of the season, and is in search of his fourth victory with the Bisons. In the righty's last outing he went 4.2IP surrendering 4H, 3R/3ER, 5BB. Rowley also struck out 3 in the team's win against Columbus on 5/31.

Toledo (0-1)

The Bisons and Mud Hens will face off for the second time in 2018 at Toledo. The two teams will play a total of 6 times this season. Following the three games at Third Fifth Field, the Mud Hens will travel to Buffalo August 10-12 for a three-game series at Coca-Cola Field.

Jason Leblebijian

INF Jason Leblebijian went 2-5 with a 2 RBIs on Tuesday's loss to the Toledo Mud Hens. The infielder is hitting .417 in his last 3 games going 5-12.

Dwight Smith Jr.

OF Dwight Smith Jr. went 2-4 on Tuesday evening improving his hitting streak to 3 games. The outfielder also contributed to the Bisons 6 run second inning with a 3 RBI double, his fifth of the season. Smith Jr. also had 1BB and 1 R in the Bison's loss.

Danny Jansen

C Danny Jansen now leads the IL in on base percentage with a .426 and also is 4th in batting average hitting .317 ... Last night Jansen collected his 13th double of the season and has now gone 4-12 (.333) in the past three games.

Extra Innings

The Herd has played six extra innings games this season, with a record of 3-3. Four of the six have come on the road, with Buffalo notching a 2-2 record away and 1-1 at Coca-Cola Field. The previous extra inning game was on May 14 @ Pawtucket (L, 5-6 in 10 innings).
