Hershey Bears News Release

As HERSHEY heads to the Onondaga County War Memorial tonight, they do so with two forwards sent this week from the Colorado Avalanche. Jordan Krestanovich was assigned from Colorado to HERSHEY on Monday afternoon, and the BEARS also received right wing Cody McCormick for the first time this season. McCormick played in 34 games for the Avalanche this season, recording two goals, five points and 51 penalty minutes. A rookie, McCormick will make his HERSHEY debut tonight in Syracuse against the Crunch. In a related roster move, the BEARS announced Friday that forward Lanny Gare has been returned to Quad City (UHL).

The game in Syracuse tonight officially kicks off the second half of the season for HERSHEY, and also starts a busy weekend for the Chocolate and White. The BEARS play at home tomorrow against the Albany River Rats at 7:00 p.m. for Huggins Printing Team Photo night, and then get back to action Sunday against the Binghamton Senators at 5:00 p.m. at GIANT Center. Sunday is Manheim Central Football night, with coach Mike Williams and the team being honored for their recent state football title.

Tonight's game can be heard on BIG 92.7 FM. John Walton describes the action from central New York beginning at 7:10 p.m.
