Wilm Recalled to Toronto

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday that they have recalled forward Clarke Wilm from the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League. In addition, the club also announced that forwards Brad Leeb and Kyle Wellwood have been re-assigned to St. John's.

Wilm, 27, has played 30 games for St. John's this season collecting 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) with 56 penalty minutes. He was recalled by Toronto on December 27 but did not see action before being re-assigned on December 31.

The native of Central Butte, Saskatchewan has played 385 career NHL games for Calgary and Nashville collecting 89 points (36 goals, 53 assists) with 286 penalty minutes.

Wilm was signed by Toronto as an unrestricted free agent on October 28, 2003. He was originally Calgary's fifth choice, 150th overall in the 1995 Entry Draft. Wilm will wear sweater number 39.

The Maple Leafs face the Toronto Roadrunners tonight and tomorrow at Mile One Stadium. Both games will be broadcast LIVE on Radio NL (930AM), Rogers Television and www.sjmapleleafs.ca starting at 7:30pm (NT).
