The B-Sens forced the American Hockey League's lone undefeated team into an overtime and shootout, before ultimately falling to the Penguins Saturday by a score of 2-1. Barry Brust put up another solid performance in the Binghamton net, turning away 36 of 37 shots faced in regulation and overtime. Steve Wagner put the Penguins on the board just 52 seconds into the third period on the power play; however Corey Locke spoiled the opportunity for a Wilkes-Barre win in regulation. Andre Benoit and Erik Condra each added assists. Ryan Keller and Mike Hoffman scored for the B-Sens in the shootout, while Dustin Jeffrey and Kevin Veilleux found the net for the Penguins. Wilkes-Barre winger Chris Conner tapped in a goal in the eighth round of the shootout, sealing the 2-1 victory, and extended the undefeated streak for the Penguins.
