FRESNO, CALIF. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that Falcons' leading scorer Matt Stefanishion has been loaned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL. Stefanishion will become the fifth Falcon player currently playing in the AHL.

Stefanishion will arrive in Hartford in time to play tonight against the Philadelphia Phantoms. Matt has played in nineteen games for the Falcons this season scoring 10 goals and notching 7 assists for the team lead in points. Matt also leads the Falcons with 68 penalty minutes.

Stefanishion had a combined 260 penalty minutes between the Falcons and Royals last season, which ranked third in the ECHL. The 25-year-old was voted as the team's Fan Favorite Player last season. He recently attended training camp with the NHL's Anaheim Ducks and the AHL's Iowa Chops, and scored a goal for Anaheim in an NHL pre-season contest against San Jose.
