Anaheim Recalls Max Friberg

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks have recalled Max Friberg from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals. This is the left winger's first call-up to the National Hockey League (NHL) of his career.

Friberg, 22, went down with an injury in the Admirals' home opener, but has scored 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 14 games since his return, including seven points in his last seven outings. The Skovde, Sweden native has totaled 94 games for the Admirals, racking up 52 points on 23 goals and 29 assists. In the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs, he also contributed five points (three goals, two assists) in 10 contests.

Norfolk finishes up its three-game road trip on Tuesday against the Hershey Bears, with puck drop set for 7:00 p.m. The Admirals return to Scope Arena on Friday and Saturday for a back-to-back against Lehigh Valley.
