Amerks Recall Forward Colin Jacobs from Elmira

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has recalled forward Colin Jacobs from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Jacobs, 20, has recorded one assist and 13 penalty minutes in 13 games with the Amerks this season. He has also appeared in seven ECHL games with Elmira and has scored one goal. In 24 career AHL games with Rochester, Jacobs has collected four points (1+3) and 13 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 204-pound native of Coppell, Texas, was originally selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the fourth round (107th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
