Crunch Release Forward Philip-Michael Devos from PTO

Syracuse, NY - Crunch forward Philip-Michael Devos has been released from his professional tryout contract, Crunch General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Devos, 23, earned two points (1g, 1a) in nine games with the Crunch since signing a PTO on Nov. 27, 2013. Devos has appeared in 14 games for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL this season recording nine points (1g, 8a). The Sorel-Tracy, Quebec native appeared in 70 regular season games with the Crunch last season, where he posted 26 points (7g, 19a). Devos appeared in 18 games, collecting five assists, during the Crunch's run to the 2013 Calder Cup Finals. The 5-foot-11,184-pound forward has appeared in 131 regular season AHL games with the Crunch and Norfolk Admirals and has tallied 52 career points (15g, 37a). He has appeared in 27 Calder Cup playoff games with Syracuse and Norfolk totaling seven playoff points.
