
Akron Aeros roster move

Akron RubberDucks News Release
The Aeros made a roster move today, transferring C Damaso Espino to Class A Mahoning Valley and receiving C Carlos Santana from Class A Kinston.
Espino was acquired from Kansas City for cash considerations on June 12th and hit .275 with no homers and 11 RBI in 31 games with the Aeros.
Santana was acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers July 26th as part of the Casey Blake deal, and was recently named MVP of the California League. He was hitting .352 with six homers and 19 RBI in just 29 games for the K-Tribe. Combined on the year, between Inland Empire and Kinston he is batting .330 (150-455) with 122 runs scored, 39 doubles, 5 triples, 20HR and 115RBI in 128 games... He leads ALL of Minor League Baseball in runs scored (122-20 more than anyone else) and is T2nd in RBI (115).
