In Tuesday's action, Kevin Doell tallied two goals and added an assist as Chicago clinched its second AHL West Division title with a 5-4 victory at Manitoba... Krys Kolanos scored in regulation and the shootout to help Quad City hold off Iowa, 4-3.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Syracuse is just one point away from clinching a Calder Cup Playoff spot as it welcomes in-state rival Binghamton to the Onondaga County War Memorial on Wednesday... The Crunch have won eight straight games and their 16-game points streak (13-0-0-3) is tied for the longest in the AHL this season... Captain Zenon Konopka, who has six goals and seven points against the B-Sens this season, was recalled by parent-club Columbus on Tuesday... Rookie Derick Brassard has a four-game scoring streak (4-4-8) for the Crunch, and Andrei Plekhanov has three goals and four points over his last two games... Karl Goehring, the Rbk X-Pulse/AHL Goaltender of the Month for March, is 9-0-2 (1.32, .958) over his last 11 outings... The Senators enter three points back of idle Hershey for the East Division's final playoff spot... Rookie Nick Foligno sports seven points (4-3-7) in five games since rejoining Binghamton from NHL Ottawa on Mar. 20... Scott May has a four-game scoring streak (3-3-6)... The Sens have scored an AHL-high 20 shorthanded goals, while Syracuse ranks second with 18.
Bridgeport, four points out of a playoff spot in the East Division, travels on Wednesday to take on Manchester, which sits five points up on Springfield for the Atlantic Division's final entry... Monarchs right wing Teddy Purcell boasts a seven-game scoring streak (4-7-11), one short of his season high, and continues to lead all AHL rookies with 77 points (22-55-77) in 63 games... Brian Boyle, who ranks first among rookies with 28 goals and second behind Purcell with 58 points, tallied his first professional hat trick in the teams' only previous meeting this year, a 5-1 win at Bridgeport on Dec. 22... Matt Moulson has found the scoresheet in six of his last seven outings (3-5-8) for Manchester... The Monarchs have the AHL's best power play both overall (23.9%) and at home (25.4%)... Two-time AHL All-Star and former Monarch Jeff Tambellini leads Bridgeport with 30 goals and 62 points in 49 games, and he has a point in all three games (1-3-4) since returning from the parent N.Y. Islanders... Ben Walter has a five-game scoring streak (3-5-8) for the Sound Tigers.
Only one point separates third-place Milwaukee from fifth-place San Antonio in the West Division as the teams square off at the AT&T Center on Wednesday in the first of three meetings this week... The Admirals have won three straight games and 10 of their last 12, and they are in a stretch of playing each of their final eight games against either San Antonio or Houston... Admirals center Cal O'Reilly ranks fifth in the league with 74 points (15-59-74) and has a team-high nine points (1-8-9) in five games against the Rampage this season... Matt Ellison sports career highs in goals (24) and points (53) for Milwaukee, and he brings a five-game scoring streak (4-4-8) into Wednesday's contest... Matt Murley has a team-high 55 points (18-37-55) for the Rampage, who are 2-2-0-0 thus far on a six-game homestand... Murley is currently riding a three-game scoring streak (1-4-5)... David Spina has three goals and five points over his last two outings... San Antonio's 86 points are one shy of the franchise high set in the Rampage's inaugural 2002-03 season.

On Tuesday, Rich Peverley, who has 54 points (14-40-54) in 45 AHL games this season with Milwaukee, netted the overtime game-winner and also had an assist in Nashville's 4-3 win over St. Louis... Jordan LaVallee notched a goal and an assist for his first two career NHL points in Atlanta's 3-2 loss to Florida... 2005 AHL All-Star Joey MacDonald, who has appeared in 34 games for Bridgeport this season, made 45 saves in the N.Y. Islanders' 2-1 overtime loss to New Jersey.
