Iowa Energy Announce 2013 Training Camp Invitees

DES MOINES, IA, November 1, 2013 - The Iowa Energy announced today the players invited to training camp for the 2013-2014 season. Moses Ehambe, Augustus Gilchrist, Othyus Jeffers, Ben Strong, and Chris Allen are returning to the Energy. Guards Kalin Lucas and Patrick Christopher come in from the Chicago Bulls training camp and will also be invited to camp.

Energy guard Robert Hite was traded earlier today to the Canton Charge for the 27th overall pick in the draft.

Iowa Energy season tickets are now on sale for the 2013-14 season. The Energy will host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in its opening day game on Sunday, December 8 at 4 PM. The newest NBA D-League team, the Delaware 87ers, will be the opponent for the opening night game on Saturday, December 14 at 7PM.
