Eagles Trade Matthew Lint to Acadie-Bathurst

October 29, 2020 - SYDNEY - The Cape Breton Eagles have traded defenseman Matthew Lint ( 2002-08-12) to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in exchange for Rimouski's 12th round draft pick in 2021. Lint was signed as a free agent by the Eagles prior to the 2019-20 season. He appeared in 17 games with the Eagles, scoring one goal, and was reassigned to Moncton in the NBPEIMMHL (Major U18) for the second half of last season. October 24, 2020 - SYDNEY - It was a third period to forget for the Cape Breton Eagles in a 10-2 loss to the Halifax Mooseheads. It was a tentative start to the opening period, with each team just managing one shot in the opening five minutes. October 23, 2020 - SYDNEY - The Cape Breton Eagles struck first in this weekend's Battle Of Nova Scotia with a 5-3 victory over the Halifax Mooseheads. The first game of the two game set was a back and forth encounter in which no team led by two until the dying minutes. There was a fast start to the game with both teams scoring in the opening four minutes- Émile Hegarty-Aubin striking first for the Eagles and Jordan Dumais countering for the Mooseheads. October 17, 2020 - BATHURST - Eight different players scored for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in a 8-1 victory on Saturday over the Cape Breton Eagles. Cole Larkin began the parade of goals in the opening period, rushing up the right wing and putting a shot in the top corner over Nicolas Ruccia. Then Mathieu Desgagnés, alone in the right circle, converted a pass from Félix-Antoine Marcotty to make it a 2-0.
