October 26, 2025 - NOTES FROM THE GAME
- The Cape Breton Eagles picked up a point in a 3-2 shootout loss against the Charlottetown Islanders on Sunday afternoon. Charlottetown's Matthew Butler scored the lone shootout goal.
- Romain Litalien scored late in the third period for the Eagles to send the game to overtime. Jacob Hartlin had opened the scoring in the second period for the Eagles.

October 25, 2025 - The Cape Breton Eagles will finish a five-game road swing as they visit the league leading Charlottetown Islanders this afternoon at 2 PM.
The Eagles battled back in their weekend opener against Halifax, rallying from down 3-0 to make it 3-2 and then cutting a three goal margin to two goals before falling 5-3 to Halifax on Saturday. Lewis Gendron, who wore the captain's "C" in the absence of Tomas Lavoie due to injury, pushed the attack with a goal, an assist, and winning 17 of 25 faceoffs.

- Three point nights from forwards Oleg Kulebiakin & Jasu Mensonen helped paced the Halifax attack as the Mooseheads defeated the Cape Breton Eagles 5-3 on Saturday night in Halifax.
- Trailing 3-0 late in the second period, Lewis Gendron & Samuel Rocca both scored in the final two minutes of the middle frame. After two Moosehead goals, Romain Litalien cut the lead to 5-3. Gendron wore the "C" as captain as Tomas Lavoie missed the game due to injury.
