April 24, 2017 - SANFORD - Two standouts from Eastern Kentucky University have officially committed to playing summer baseball for the Moose. Penning their signatures for the 2017 season are infielder Ryland Kerr (Bellevue, WA) and pitcher Casey Collins (Lawrenceville, GA). April 18, 2017 - SANFORD - The 2017 coaching staff is expected to see a pair of familiar faces this season. Returning for their second year is both head coach Chris Morris and pitching coach Tim Corey. Making his NECBL coaching debut is first-year Mainer hitting coach Nick Swim. Mainers Sign on Three Returners from 2016 Season

March 18, 2017 - SANFORD - During the offseason, the Sanford Mainers were able to pick up three returners from last year's roster. The Moose officially penned pitchers Joe Orlando (Endicott, NY), Cole Whitney (Campbell Hall, NY), and outfielder CJ Krowiak (Endicott, NY), for the 2017 summer season. Joe Orlando had a successful 2016 campaign with the Mainers, making 13 total appearances on the mound.
