June 19, 2026 - Willmar, Minn. - The Willmar Stingers (10-15) were swept by the Badlands Big Sticks (13-11) in a doubleheader Friday at Bill Taunton Stadium featuring two seven-inning games. Badlands took the first game 4-3, scoring the game-winning run in the top of the seventh on a Chris Fox single to plate John Youens. Stingers Take Second Game of Doubleheader

June 19, 2026 - Willmar, Minn. - The Willmar Stingers (10-13) were victorious 10-7 against the Badlands Big Sticks (11-11) at Bill Taunton Stadium. The two teams split their doubleheader for the day. The Big Sticks struck first with three runs in the opening inning. Chris Fox had an RBI single in the inning to score Cooper Rasmussen. Stingers Drop Series Opener to Big Sticks

June 18, 2026 - Willmar, Minn. - The Willmar Stingers fell 7-3 in their series opener Thursday afternoon against the Badlands Big Sticks after an offensive surge from the visitors in the middle innings. The Big Sticks (11-10) took the early lead with two runs in the top of the first inning. June 17, 2026 - Willmar, Minn. - The Willmar Stingers game versus the Badlands Big Sticks on Wednesday, June 17th has been officially postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Bill Taunton Stadium. Heavy rains throughout the area have left standing water throughout the infield and outfield. As a result of the extreme wet conditions, Montevideo High School Marching Band Night has been postponed.
