Stingers Hire New General Manager

September 14, 2026 - Willmar, MN - The Willmar Stingers announced today that the team has added Walker Regier as the General Manager of the organization. Regier's journey with the Stingers began as an operations intern in 2019. He then went on to work for the Mankato MoonDogs & Habaneros for the next 7 years in a variety of positions most recently serving as the General Manager for both teams. Stingers' Season Ends in Game Three Loss to Rox

August 12, 2026 - St. Cloud, Minn. - The Willmar Stingers' 2026 season came to a close Tuesday night as they fell 10-9 to the St. Cloud Rox at Joe Faber Field. The Rox (44-28) seized an early lead with three runs in the opening inning. Brett White plated two on a double to left field before Jackson Legg brought in White later in the frame on a sacrifice fly. Starting pitcher Ryan Dalager was pulled after the first inning. Stingers Shut out Rox to Force Game 3

August 10, 2026 - St. Cloud, Minn - The Willmar Stingers defeated the St. Cloud Rox 4-0 in Game 2 of the Great Plains West Sub-Divisional Playoff Series at Joe Faber Field. It was a pitchers duel through the first five innings of action with neither team allowing any breathing room. Between Willmar's Brandon Mikos, and St. Cloud's Manning West, they only allowed a total of five hits over that span. The Willmar offense broke the scoreless tie with four runs in the sixth inning. Stingers Drop Playoff Opener to Rox

August 9, 2026 - Willmar, Minn. - The Willmar Stingers fell 7-3 to the St. Cloud Rox Sunday night in game one of their Great Plains West sub-divisional series at Bill Taunton Stadium. The Rox (43-27) seized the early upper hand on a pair of productive outs. Colton Rother recorded a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded before Brett Griffiths brought in another run on a groundout to make it 2-0 in the game's opening frame.
