Stingers Drop Opening Game to Hot Tots

August 5, 2025 - Willmar, MN - The Willmar Stingers (19-15) dropped the opening game against the Minot Hot Tots (16-15), 11-5. The Stingers started the bottom of the third with back-to-back walks, but couldn't drive them in. Merrick Rapoza hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. The Stingers loaded the bases for Carter Walsh, who walked in the second run of the inning. The Hot Tots scored three runs in the top of the sixth. Stingers Drop Back-And-Forth Battle to the Rox

August 3, 2025 - Willmar, MN - The Willmar Stingers (19-14) lost the series finale against the St. Cloud Rox (18-12), 15-11. In the bottom of the first. Second basemen Armani Guzman singled before centerfielder Carter Walsh unloaded for his second homer of the season to put the Stingers up early. The Rox answered right back with three runs in the top of the second. In the bottom of the third, the Stingers loaded the bases for Charlie Schau. Stingers' Offense Boosts Willmar to Win

August 2, 2025 - Willmar, MN - The Willmar Stingers (19-13) took the opening game of their series against the St. Cloud Rox (17-12), 12-1. Liam Bushey reached on an infield single before first baseman Matthew Pena walked to start the first inning. Catcher Sam Hunt drove in one run with a single. August 1, 2025 - Willmar, MN- The Willmar Stingers (18-13) lost the series finale against the Minot Hot Tots (13-15), 7-6. The Hot Tots struck first, scoring one run in the second. The Stingers answered right back with two runs of their own. First basemen Matthew Pena hit his 10th homerun of the year to start the bottom of the second inning.
