Preston Lounsbury Wins Frank-J.-Selke Trophy

QMJHL Moncton Wildcats April 12, 2024 - The QMJHL is proud to announce that Preston Lounsbury of the Moncton Wildcats is the winner of the Frank-J.-Selke Trophy, presented to the Most Sportsmanlike yet effective player. The Wildcats' top playmaker with 38 assists, Lounsbury finished fourth on the team in scoring with 57 points. To go along with a +10 rating, his seven power-play goals were the second-most in Moncton. Today, the finalists for the Frank-J.-Selke Trophy, presented to the Most Sportsmanlike Player while also being effective. QMJHL Moncton Wildcats April 11, 2024 - The QMJHL will continue to honour its own through the Golden Puck Awards, until May 7. Today, the finalists for the Michel-Bergeron Trophy, presented to the Offensive Rookie of the Year. The three nominees are: Raoul Boilard, Baie-Comeau Drakkar In 68 games, Boilard led all QMJHL rookies with 40 assists and 62 points, finishing third in scoring for the mighty Drakkar. QMJHL Moncton Wildcats April 9, 2024 - The Moncton Wildcats announced today they are parting ways with head coach Daniel Lacroix. "After a disappointing conclusion to the season we mutually decided it was time for a change," said Robert K. Irving, President of the Moncton Wildcats.
