With Thursday's 2 points - earned in a 7-4 win over Saint John - the Cats caught Chicoutimi, the #1 team in the CHL. Both teams sit atop the QMJHL with 69 points after 44 games. Cats Reach 1st Place in Q with Win over Sea Dogs

January 30, 2026 - The Wildcats again reached top spot in the QMJHL after reeling off their 5th straight victory, a 7-4 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs Thursday night at Avenir Centre before 4,000 fans. The Cats spotted Saint John an early 2-0 lead before storming back with four straight goals and put the game away with a 3-goal third period. January 28, 2026 - The CHL's 5th-ranked Wildcats (32-8-2-1) return to home ice Thursday night on the heels of a stormy, but successful 3-game Quebec road trip, downing 3 clubs in 4 nights. Wildcats Sweep Quebec Road Trip with 6-2 Win over Remparts

January 26, 2026 - The Moncton Wildcats concluded another successful trip to Quebec Sunday afternoon in Quebec City, dumping the Remparts 6-2 before 10,200 fans at Videotron to sweep all three games. The Cats also posted victories in Baie Comeau 4-1 Thursday and Chicoutimi 3-2 Saturday night. Kuzma Voronin (17th, 18th) and Niko Tournas (31st, 32nd) clicked with two goals each.
