Wildcats Add Titan Defenseman, Sam McKinney

QMJHL Moncton Wildcats January 11, 2021 - MONCTON N.B. - The Wildcats have made another addition to the roster, acquiring defenseman Sam McKinney from the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in exchange for a fifth round pick in the 2023 QMJHL Entry Draft. Drafted by the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 54th overall in 2019, Sam was traded to the Titan during last year's Christmas trade period. McKinney spent last season with the Campbelton Tigers of the MJAHL, playing in 43 games, recording 32 points. The 18-year-old has suited up for 15 games ... Full Story

Spence Traded to Val-d'Or and Wildcats Pick up Top Goaltending Prospect

QMJHL Moncton Wildcats January 7, 2021 - MONCTON - The Moncton Wildcats have traded defenseman and Assistant Captain, Jordan Spence to the Val-d'Or Foreurs. In return the Wildcats have acquired goaltender Vincent Filion, a fourth round pick in 2022 and a first round pick in 2023. Filion was drafted 6th overall by the Foreurs in the 2020 QMJHL entry draft, making him the highest selected goaltender since Olivier Rodrigue in 2016.
