Wildcats Stage Comeback as They Top Sea Dogs 7- 4

January 19, 2020 - Gabriel Fortier and Jordan Spence each scored twice to lead the Wildcats to a 7-4 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs, Saturday at TD Station. Alexander Khovanov, Philippe Daoust and Benoit-Olivier Groulx also scored in Moncton's third straight win. The team fired a franchise-record 69 shots on goal, including 12 by Jeremy McKenna. Magic's Recent Trade with Windsor Rescinded

January 19, 2020 - Moncton, NB. - The Moncton Magic's recent trade with the Windsor Express has been rescinded. The trade was announced last Sunday, January 12th, which would send Moncton's Billy White to the Express for Canadian guard Kemy Osse and the protected player rights to Ty Walker to the Magic. The Magic were notified by the league on Thursday evening, January 16th, that in fact the Express were not permitted to trade the protected rights to Ty Walker, as Walker had attended the teams training camp ... January 18, 2020 - Liam Leonard scored the go-ahead goal eight minutes into the third period, and picked up an assist, as the Wildcats edged the Saint John Sea Dogs, 4-3, Friday at Avenir Centre. Mika Cyr, Jared McIsaac and Benoit-Olivier Groulx also scored for Moncton. Cyr opened the scoring 84 seconds into the second period after he deflected an Alexander Khovanov shot from the right circle off the right leg of Sea Dogs' goalie Zachary Bouthillier and then buried his own rebound.
