June 9, 2026 - Two Eagles goaltenders have been named to Team Canada camps in the upcoming summer. Lucas Beckman, was acquired on Friday, June 5th from the Chicoutimi Saguenéens has been invited to attend the Summer Showcase for Canada's National Junior Team from July 27th to August 1st in Windsor, ON. Eagles Acquire Beckman, Gosselin, Lefebvre from the Chicoutimi Saguenéens

June 5, 2026 - The Cape Breton Eagles have acquired three players from the 2026 Gilles-Courteau Champions Chicoutimi Saguenéens. The players include goaltender Lucas Beckman, defenceman Alonso Gosselin, and forward Liam Lefebvre. Beckman [2007] is a second-round selection (35th overall) in the 2023 QMJHL Draft by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
