August 6, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners announced on Wednesday that Rick Kowalsky has been named the team's new Head Coach and General Manager. A former Portland Pirate, Kowalsky brings 20 years of experience coaching in professional hockey, including three as an assistant with the New Jersey Devils and eleven as a head coach in the American Hockey League. July 31, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners announced the re-signing of forwards Xander Lamppa and Alex DiPaolo on Thursday, as they continued to build their roster for the 2025-26 season. Lamppa is coming off first full season as a pro in 2024-25, while DiPaolo joined the Mariners from Colgate University in March. July 24, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Mariners announced the re-signing of two players on Thursday, bringing back goaltender Brad Arvanitis and forward Jacob Hudson for the 2025-26 season. It will be Arvanitis' third season in Maine and Hudson's second. Arvanitis, 27, has played more minutes than any goaltender in team history.
