January 3, 2026 - Wichita, Kansas - Colby Enns scored the Utah Grizzlies lone goal in a 6-1 loss to the Wichita Thunder on Saturday night at INTRUST Bank Arena. Peter Bates, Kyle Jeffers and John Gormley each scored first period goals as Wichita led 3-0 after one frame. Evan Friesen had 7 shots on goal in the first period. Dylan Wells Returns to Utah for Saturday's Road Battle at Wichita

January 3, 2026 - Salt Lake City, Utah - Goaltender Dylan Wells has retuned to the Utah Grizzlies on loan from the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners. Wells leads Utah with 7 wins on the season. Wells had a 46 save shutout at Idaho on October 24, 2025. He has 70 career games of AHL experience and has a record of 29-26-8. In 121 games of ECHL experience he has a record of 56-49-10. Grizzlies Fall, 7-6, in Overtime at Wichita

January 2, 2026 - Wichita, Kansas - The Utah Grizzlies lose a wild 7-6 game to the Wichita Thunder as Michal Stinil scored a power play game winner 4:17 into overtime. Utah was led by two goals from Danny Dzhaniyev and John Gelatt. Kyle Crnkovic scored a power play goal 4:22 into the contest to give Wichita a 1-0 lead. Grizzlies Sign Goaltender Dominic Basse

January 2, 2026 - Salt Lake City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies have signed goaltender Dominic Basse. Basse was selected in the 6th round by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2019 NHL Draft. Basse appeared in 41 games for Colorado College from 2020-2022. He played at St. Cloud State from 2022-2024, where he won 23 games in two seasons. At St. Lawrence University during the 2024-25 season, he appeared in 10 games. He was a teammate with Grizzlies forward Reilly Connors at St. Lawrence. Basse has good size at 6'6" and 197 pounds.
