Calgary Roughnecks Sign Eli Salama to Multi-Year Extension

March 11, 2026 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks announce today that they have signed captain Eli Salama to a three-year contract extension. Salama, a native of Coquitlam, BC, has played his entire seven season career with the Roughnecks after being drafted in the first round (12th overall) by the organization in the 2018 NLL Entry Draft. He has played a total of 103 career regular season games and totaled 13 goals, 50 points, and 573 loose balls. Roughnecks Take Big Road Win at Rochester

March 8, 2026 - Rochester, NY - The Calgary Roughnecks played their one and only game this season against the Rochester Knighthawks on the road Sunday afternoon, earning a 14-7 win. The Roughnecks dominated play in the first half of the game, taking a 9-3 lead into halftime. Tanner Cook scored four goals in the first half, surpassing the 30-goal plateau on the season. February 28, 2026 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks were defeated by the Halifax Thunderbirds tonight at the Scotiabank Saddledome by a score of 14-10. Halifax opened the scoring in this contest as their leading scorer, Clarke Petterson, found the back of the net which would be his first of a game-high five goals. February 16, 2026 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks were defeated by the Georgia Swarm tonight at the Scotiabank Saddledome by a score of 11-6. The Roughnecks opened the scoring in this game as Tyler Pace netted his 16th goal of the season. The Swarm then answered with a pair of goals before Justin Inacio found the back of the net off a face-off rush.
