MacKenzie to Represent Canada at Hlinka/Gretzky Cup

July 8, 2026 - Halifax Mooseheads bench boss Brad MacKenzie has been named an Assistant Coach for Canada's National Men's Summer U18 team at the upcoming Hlinka/Gretzky Cup to be held August 3-8 in Edmonton, AB. Regiment to Host Saginaw Spirit for Preseason Triple-Header Across Central & Western NL

July 7, 2026 - ST. JOHN'S, NL - The Newfoundland Regiment Hockey Club announced today that the club will host the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League for a three-game preseason series this August, with games to be played in Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor, and Corner Brook. July 7, 2026 - Yesterday, the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced that the Moncton Wildcats were selected as one of two finalist clubs in the bid to host the 2028 Memorial Cup presented by Kubota. Moncton and Québec were selected by the 2028 Memorial Cup Site Selection Committee, an independent panel of five individuals with extensive experience across the sports landscape.
