Charlottetown's Marcus Kearsey Wins Humanitarian of the Year Award

QMJHL Charlottetown Islanders April 16, 2024 - The QMJHL is proud to announce that Marcus Kearsey of the Charlottetown Islanders is the winner of the Humanitarian of the Year Award for his outstanding community involvement. Marcus has been a prized asset for his community throughout the season, spearheading several community initiatives including the creation of the Kearsey's Kids program. QMJHL Charlottetown Islanders April 10, 2024 - The Halifax McDonald's U18 team, also known as the Halifax Macs, just won the NSU18 AAA championship; captained by Charlottetown Islanders prospect Kenzie Wager. Wagner, measures in at 6 feet even, weighing 185 lbs. The Islanders selected him in the ninth round, 153rd overall this past draft. Now 17 years old, Wagner is no stranger to a leadership role. The Baie-Comeau Drakkar have defeated the Islanders 7-1 in game four to advance to the second round of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League playoffs.
