Charlottetown, PE - The Charlottetown Islanders have announced the addition of two new members of the Hockey Operations staff.

Quinten Rubcich has been brought on as the Hockey Operations Intern. President and General Manager, Scott Harris, says Rubcich will have the opportunity to learn and contrite across all facets of the team's Hockey Ops department and organization, giving other staff members another layer of support.

"We're very excited to add Quinten to our staff as our Hockey Operations Intern. This is a new internship program we are launching this season to give highly motivated individuals the opportunity to pursue careers in Hockey Operations at the major junior, collegiate, and professional levels, while also allowing them to receive academic credit for their experience," said Harris "Quinten is an extremely motivated and hardworking individual who has been pursuing an opportunity like this for quite some time. His experience as President of his university club hockey team, along with the time he has spent around the game, has given him a strong foundation to build on."

Tomas Chadim has been hired as the team's European Scouting and Recruitment Coordinator. Harris says Chadim will play an integral role in building scouting operations within the franchise, and that it is critical to have an advance understanding of the European and Russian markets.

"We are very excited to add Tomas to our staff as our European Scouting & Recruitment Coordinator. Tomas brings an extensive background in information gathering, relationship building, and network development across the European hockey landscape. His addition will significantly improve our coverage, expand our network, and provide another valuable voice in our evaluation and decision-making process as we identify and pursue players who can impact the Charlottetown Islanders," said Harris.

The Islanders are at home Friday, September 25th at 7:00 p.m.. They'll face the Cape Breton Eagles once again, this time on home ice. Season Tickets and 15-Game Packs for the 2026-27 season are on sale now.
