Sea Dogs Awarded First Overall Selection in 2019 QMJHL Entry Draft

April 18, 2019 - MONTREAL, QC - The Saint John Sea Dogs have been awarded the first overall pick in the 2019 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft. The QMJHL held its annual draft lottery on Thursday night at TVA studios in Montreal. Five teams were involved in this year's draw: the Sea Dogs, Gatineau Olympiques, Shawinigan Cataractes, Val-d'Or Foreurs and Moncton Wildcats.
