Moose Add Overage Forward Samuel Rousseau

December 15, 2025 - Halifax Mooseheads General Manager Cam Russell acquired overage forward Samuel Rousseau from Rouyn-Noranda on Monday in exchange for a 5th round draft pick in 2026. "We are proud to welcome Samuel to the team. His proven leadership and depth of experience will strengthen our work and elevate what we can achieve together," Russell said. Islanders Add to Mooseheads Woes

December 14, 2025 - A Mooseheads team that was without two of their top-four scoring forwards struggled to get anything going on Sunday in Charlottetown where the Islanders skated to a 5-1 victory. Shawn Carrier was a late scratch with an illness while Quinn Kennedy served an automatic one game suspension for fighting in the final five minutes of a game with a two goal or more difference. Mooseheads Silenced in Hub City

December 13, 2025 - The Moncton Wildcats were in complete control at the Avenir Centre on Saturday night where the number one team in the QMJHL dominated to a 5-1 win over the Halifax Mooseheads. The Cats overpowered the Herd in all aspects of the game en route to run their hot streak to 10 wins and one shootout loss over their last 11 outings. 30 games into the season, Moncton now holds a league-best 21-6-2-1 record for 45 points.
