December 22, 2025 - The Halifax Mooseheads made their second trade in a week on Monday when General Manager Cam Russell acquired 2nd, 3rd and 5th round draft picks in 2027 from the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in exchange for 19-year-old defenceman Mathieu Taillefer.
The veteran blue-liner from Richelieu, QC was named an Alternate Captain for the Mooseheads this season and scored one goal and three assists in 21 games played. He has been out since late November with a lower body injury and now gets the chance to play for the QMJHL team close... Full Story
December 18, 2025 - Eddy Doyle's first Scotiabank Centre goal was a memorable one. The big defenceman ripped in his fourth career goal, and first ever on home ice, to give the Mooseheads a 4-3 overtime victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs on Thursday night.
The Herd won their second game in as many nights over the Sea Dogs and finished the pre-Christmas schedule with 17 wins and 36 points in 31 games played. That's good enough for fifth place in the Eastern Conference and eighth place in the overall QMJHL standings.

December 17, 2025 - The Halifax Mooseheads built up a healthy lead but had to hang on to grab two points in Saint John by edging the Sea Dogs 4-3 at TD Station on Wednesday night.
The Herd got two goals each from Quinn Kennedy and Shawn Carrier, while overage forward Connor MacPherson enjoyed a two assist night. Halifax held a 4-0 lead as late as 5:07 of the third period but seemed to let the foot off the gas and the Sea Dogs made things interesting with three unanswered goals in a span of 11 minutes and 54 seconds.
