
Crunch Sign Defenseman Patrick Cullity And Center Tyler Murovich

Syracuse, NY (April 1, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Patrick Cullity and center Tyler Murovich each to an amateur tryout contract.
Cullity, 23, appeared in 37 games with the University of Vermont (Hockey East) this season, posting two goals, nine assists and 56 penalty minutes. A native of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, Cullity skated in 145 games at the University of Vermont from 2006-10, totaling two goals, 23 assists and 252 penalty minutes.
Murovich, 20, appeared in 54 games with Saginaw (OHL) this season, recording 24 goals, 28 assists and 74 penalty minutes while serving as team captain. In addition, Murovich skated in six playoff games for the Spirit, posting two goals and three assists. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Murovich attended the Syracuse Crunch's training camp prior to the start of the 2009-10 regular season.
The Crunch travel to Adirondack on Friday, April 2 and Hershey on Saturday, April 3 before returning home to battle Hershey again on Tuesday, April 6 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
