B-Sens Sign Forward Yannick Tifu

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed center Yannick Tifu to a professional try-out contract.

Tifu, 25, has spent the majority of the 2009-10 season with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. In 48 games with the Elmira, Tifu has recorded 56 points (15 goals, 41 assists) and amassed 69 penalty minutes.

The Brossard, Que. native has appeared in 69 career American Hockey League games with Albany, Rochester and Binghamton. In five games with the B-Sens Tifu has recorded three points (one goal, two assists).

The Binghamton Senators will host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Friday, April 2 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
