Admirals Host Peoria Friday In Pivotal Game

April 1, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI -The Milwaukee Admirals return to the Bradley Center when they host the Peoria Rivermen at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 2 in a pivotal game with significant Calder Cup Playoff implications. The Admirals, who sit in fourth place with 84 points, currently lead the Rivermen by four points in the race for the final playoff spot in the AHL's West Division.

With six games to go in the regular season for both teams, Milwaukee has a magic number of nine to clinch a spot in the post-season for the ninth consecutive year. Any combination of Milwaukee points earned and Peoria points not earned that equals nine will put the Ads in the playoffs. However, since the Admirals and Rivermen still have two games against each other both teams hold their destiny in their own hands.

The first 5,000 fans to the game will take home a set of Admirals trading cards, courtesy of Pepsi, and legendary musician Pat McCurdy will perform in the east atrium before and after the game and also during intermissions.

Friday is also a Chipotle Fiesta Deck Night where fans can get a Stern & Bow ticket, a Chipotle Burrito, and a kazoo for just $16.

Fans can buy tickets for Friday, or any Admirals game, by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more people receive a minimum of $2 off of each ticket. For more information or to order group tickets call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
