Moose To Wear East St. Paul Aces Jersey To Celebrate "Hockey Night In Manitoba"

February 5, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Manitoba Moose News Release

The Manitoba Moose are celebrating 'Hockey Night in Manitoba' when they host the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, February 13th at MTS Centre. Game time is 7:30 PM.

The Moose will spend the night celebrating the sport of hockey by paying tribute to the wide range of teams throughout the province of Manitoba. To honor minor hockey, the Moose will trade in their regular home-white jerseys and sport an East St. Paul Aces sweater for the night. East St. Paul earned the right to see their jersey worn in professional action by winning last year's Community Jersey Program. As part of their prize they also hosted the second annual Manitoba Moose Pancake Breakfast back in October and will receive game-worn, autographed Aces jerseys as a token to remember the night.

Also, the first 5000 fans through the doors will receive a set of three Moose hockey cards to add to their collection. Historic hockey videos, plenty of organ music and custom game graphics will set the mood for a night dedicated to celebrating Canada's favorite sport.

The Community Jersey program will once again continue in 2009-10 which means community clubs are once again eligible to receive credit for every Manitoba Moose ticket purchased through Ticketmaster or at the Moose office. A full list of community clubs and codes are found on www.moosehockey.com/jerseypromo. All registered community clubs in the province are once again eligible. The community club with the most tickets purchased will then have the honour of having their jersey worn by the entire Moose team during a regular season AHL game in 2010-11.

To get your tickets for the Moose games on February 12th and 13th against the Toronto Marlies, please call Ticketmaster at 780-3333 or visit www.moosehockey.com.
