December 22, 2025 - The Halifax Mooseheads made their second trade in a week on Monday when General Manager Cam Russell acquired 2nd, 3rd and 5th round draft picks in 2027 from the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in exchange for 19-year-old defenceman Mathieu Taillefer. The veteran blue-liner from Richelieu, QC was named an Alternate Captain for the Mooseheads this season and scored one goal and three assists in 21 games played. December 22, 2025 - Halifax, NS - The Halifax Wanderers have signed Canadian goalkeeper Marco Carducci to a two-year contract through the 2027 Canadian Premier League season. Carducci, 29, makes the move to Halifax after a storied career at fellow CPL side Cavalry FC, where he established himself as a top keeper in the league's history. December 18, 2025 - Eddy Doyle's first Scotiabank Centre goal was a memorable one. The big defenceman ripped in his fourth career goal, and first ever on home ice, to give the Mooseheads a 4-3 overtime victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs on Thursday night. The Herd won their second game in as many nights over the Sea Dogs and finished the pre-Christmas schedule with 17 wins and 36 points in 31 games played. December 17, 2025 - The Halifax Mooseheads built up a healthy lead but had to hang on to grab two points in Saint John by edging the Sea Dogs 4-3 at TD Station on Wednesday night. The Herd got two goals each from Quinn Kennedy and Shawn Carrier, while overage forward Connor MacPherson enjoyed a two assist night.
