May 24, 2016 - BLOOMINGTON, Illinois - The Bloomington Thunder captain is the second player in less than a week that revealed his commitment to a Division I program. Jake Slaker (University of Michigan) announced on Tuesday afternoon that he will play for the University of Michigan in the 2016-17 season. May 19, 2016 - BLOOMINGTON, Illinois - The Bloomington Thunder are pleased to announce another player moving on to a Division I program. Defenseman Butrus Ghafari (Michigan State University) revealed his commitment to Michigan State University on Thursday afternoon. Amazing Playoff Season Ends for Thunder

May 10, 2016 - DUBUQUE, Iowa - The fantastic ride for the Bloomington Thunder to capture the Clark Cup in only their second season came to an unfortunate end on Tuesday night. The Dubuque Fighting Saints were able to hold the Thunder away from multiple chances in the game and take a 3-0 win in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final.
