August 12, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison Head Coach, Phillip Barski, announced today that the team has signed forward Jonny Evans to an ECHL standard player contract. Evans, 28, was named alternate captain on October 17, 2024. In 30 games with the Bison last season, he compiled 11 points (2g, 9a) with 16 penalty minutes. August 7, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison Head Coach, Phillip Barski, announced today that the team has signed defenseman Seung Jae Lee to an ECHL standard player contract. Lee, 22, played the last three seasons at Yonsei University collecting 13 points (3g, 10a) in 24 games. The South Korean native led his team's defensemen in points in each of the last two seasons. Bison Ink First Defenseman for 2025-26

July 30, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison Head Coach, Phillip Barski, announced today that the team has signed defenseman Riku Ishida to an ECHL standard player contract. Ishida, 25, tallied 31 points (5g, 26a) in 36 games last season in the Alps Hockey League. He led his team in assists and led the team's defensemen in points. July 21, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison Head Coach, Phillip Barski, announced today that the team has signed forward Eddie Matsushima to an ECHL standard player contract. Matsushima, 31, was named the first captain in franchise history on October 17, 2024. He led all Bison players last season with 27 goals, 57 points, and 190 shots in 67 games played.
