December 5, 2025 - HALIFAX, NS - The Halifax Thunderbirds put on a strong two-way display to open the season on Friday night, beating the Oshawa FireWolves 11-2 at Scotiabank Centre.
Clarke Petterson led the way offensively for Halifax, putting up a game-high five assists and one insurance goal. Randy Staats added a pair of goals and five points while captain Cody Jamieson finished with two goals of his own and four points.

November 20, 2025 - HALIFAX, NS - The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that the team has signed goaltender Justin Geddie to a one-year contract.
Geddie, 24, has played four seasons in the National Lacrosse League, having previous stints with San Diego, Albany, and Las Vegas. He was selected in the second round (32nd overall) by Calgary in the 2020 NLL Draft.
The Victoria, British Columbia product appeared in 14 games for the Desert Dogs last season, posting a 13.34 goals-against average and a .748 save percentage.

November 19, 2025 - HALIFAX, NS - The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that the team has signed defender Nathan Fehr to a one-year contract.
Fehr, 21, has played one year in the National Lacrosse League, having spent last year with Philadelphia. The Wings selected him in the fifth round (60th overall) in the 2024 NLL Draft.
In seven games last season, the 6-foot, 200-pound defender registered seven loose balls and six caused turnovers while going 44-for-106 on face-offs (41.5%).
