Zary Invited to Hockey Canada's Under-18 Camp

Kamloops, BC - Kamloops Blazers forward Connor Zary has been invited to Hockey Canada's Under-18 camp for the upcoming Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Edmonton and Red Deer this August.

Zary was a standout last season at only 16, and finished the year with 11 goals, 18 assists and 29 points in 68 games.

He was not among 66 players named to Canada's Under-17 rosters last October, but is now among 44 players to attend Canada's Under-18 camp.

Prospect Massimo Rizzo, who spent last season with the Penticton Vees of the BCHL, has also been invited to the camp.

Earlier this month, forward Josh Pillar and goaltender Dylan Garand were both invited to Hockey Canada's Under-17 development camp which will run in Calgary in late July.
