
Giants Unveil 2018-19 Regular Season Schedule

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants in conjunction with the Western Hockey League released their complete 2018-19 regular season schedule earlier this morning. A full downloadable month-by-month version of the schedule is available HERE.
On Friday, September 21st the Vancouver Giants begin their 18th season in the WHL with their CIBC Home Opener against the defending Western Conference champion Everett Silvertips at 7:30 PM. The next night the G-Men will head South to complete a home-and-home weekend against the Silvertips at the Angel of the Winds Arena at 7:05 PM.
Overall the Giants will play 34 home games and 34 road games as part of the newly established 68 game schedule for 2018-19. Some notable home dates include:
Tuesday, October 16th vs. Swift Current - The Giants face the 2018 WHL champion Swift Current Broncos for the only time during the 2018-19 season. The G-Men will host all six East Division teams who will make their biennial trip to the B.C. Division. It's also the first Triple O Tuesday of the season.
Tuesday, November 6th (Canada vs. Russia) - The Giants are proud to partner with the WHL and Hockey Canada to host Game #1 of the 2018 CIBC Canada/Russia Series.
Sunday, November 18th vs. Victoria - The Giants battle their 2018 playoff rivals from Victoria for the first time on home ice. Overall the Giants will face their rivals from the Island 10 times. All Save on Foods Sunday home games will feature a Western Family post-game skate and autographs with your favorite Vancouver Giants.
Saturday, December 1st vs. Tri-City - The first of two games taking place at the Pacific Coliseum. The evening will highlight some of the best memories from the 50-year history of the Rink on Renfrew.
Saturday, December 8th vs. Victoria - The Pacific Coliseum will be packed for "Teddy Bear Toss." This season the G-Men return to the Pacific Coliseum for one of the most highly anticipated games of the season. Bowen Byram scored the Teddy Bear Goal in 2017 - Who will score the famed goal this season?
Monday, February 18th vs. Portland - At 2 PM on Family Day the Giants host Vegas Golden Knights prospect Cody Glass and the Portland Winterhawks. It marks the only Monday home game for the Giants in 2018-19 and will be presented by TELUS. A post-game family skate will follow.
Saturday, March 15th vs. Kelowna - Fan Appreciation Night for 2018-19 will take place against the Giants B.C. Division rivals, the Kelowna Rockets.
