Wrestling Stars Come To Titans Games

TRENTON, NJ (November 26, 2003) - The Trenton Titans announced today that WWE superstars Jerry "the King" Lawler and Sergeant Slaughter will be appearing at Titans games on Saturday, January 24, and Friday, March 19, respectively.

"We are happy to welcome The King and Sergeant Slaughter to the Titans home," said Rich Lisk, President and General Manager of the Trenton Titans. "These two entertainers will add a lot of fun and excitement to 'Riveting Hockey'."

Both wrestlers will be a part of in-game entertainment and promotions and will also be signing autographs in the concourse after the game. Lawler comes to Sovereign Bank Arena to participate in Military Night as the Titans face-off against the Roanoke Express on Saturday, January 24 at 7:00pm. On this night the Titans will be working with area Armed Forces to celebrate our Troops. Slaughter comes to town on Friday, March 19 at 7:30pm when the Titans take on the Cincinnati Cyclones.

The Trenton Titans are a member of the ECHL - America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Trenton Titans play at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. The Titans begin a three-game weekend series against the Wheeling Nailers on Friday, November 28 at Sovereign Bank Arena at 7:30pm. The team will then travel down to Wheeling for games on Saturday, November 29 at 7:30pm and Sunday, November 30 at 6:00pm. For ticket information, call a Titans Sales Representative at 609.599.9500.
