Tonight's Game

The Columbia Inferno (10-3-2) and the Florence Pride (5-7-2) meet for the third time this season. The Inferno is tied for second place in the Southern Division of the Eastern Conference with 22 points, along with Greensboro. The Florence Pride is in sixth place with 12 points.

Last Inferno Game – COLUMBIA 3 – Greenville 2 (Overtime) Sunday, November 23rd

Tim Smith scored an unassisted goal early in overtime to lift the Columbia Inferno over the Greenville Grrrowl, 3-2. Smith, who opened the scoring late in the first period with his fifth goal of the season, netted his first overtime goal 42 seconds into the extra session. Alexandre Burrows notched two assists and Chris Pittman tallied with 6:12 remaining in regulation to give Columbia a 2-1 advantage. Brian Passmore scored with an extra attacker to tie the game at 2-2 for Greenville with just 40 seconds remaining in the third period. Rob McVicar stopped 24 shots to pick up the win for the Inferno, who extended their unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-1).

Columbia Inferno Highlights

Robin Carruthers had 1g-3a in the game against the Cottonmouths, including the game-winner...Tim Smith scored two goals against Greenville as well as the game-winner in overtime...Rob McVicar recorded two wins this past weekend to increase his record to 4-1-0...Chris Pittman has four points (3g-1a) in his last four games...Brandon Nolan has four points (3g-1a) in his last four games...Derek Eastman has three points (1g-2a) in his last three games.

Florence Pride

Each of the Pride's last eight goals have been scored by either Shaun Sutter, Mike Souza or Allan Sirois... Shaun Sutter enters the week on a three-game goal-scoring streak...Sutter leads the team with seven goals this season, four of which have come on the power play... Allan Sirois is seven goals shy of reaching 200 for his ECHL career.

Next Inferno Game

Inferno will host the Augusta Lynx for the first time this season on Friday, November 28th at 7:30pm. The Marines will be here collecting toys for their Toys For Tots program.

Up Next For Florence

The Pride will host the Reading Royals on Friday, November 28th.

The Series vs. Florence

The Inferno is 12-4-3 all-time against the Pride, 5-3 all-time in the playoffs and 2-0-0 this season. The last game between these two teams, Columbia beat the Pride in overtime 4-3 on October 18th in Florence.

Wednesday, November 26th: Turkey Bowling Night: The Harvest Hope will be here collecting food for the holiday season. Fans are encouraged to bring canned food for the needy.

Friday, November 28th: Let Mom shop and Dad's bring your kids to a hockey game...Toys for Tots...Season of Giving. Fans are asked to bring a toy to donate to the Toys for Tots program. Marines will be here to help collect the toys.

Friday, December 5th: WMHK's Bears for Caring – Bring a teddy bear and after the first goal the Inferno score you can throw the bear on the ice as a donation to WMHK's Bears for Caring program. These bears will be distributed throughout the Midlands.
