Clarance Traded to Fresno

Columbia, SC, November 26, 2003— Head Coach Scott White announces that centerman Blair Clarance has been traded to the Fresno Falcons for cash. Fresno is located in California and plays in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference in the ECHL.

The 5'11, 195lbs Stratford, Ontario native played 10 games and contributed one goal and 13 penalty minutes for the Inferno. He played at St. Lawrence University for four years prior to joining Columbia.

Jesse Schultz, 21, was reassigned by the Manitoba Moose and rejoins the Inferno after playing two games in the AHL. He recorded his first pro assist while playing with the Moose on November 8th against Chicago. Schultz has played nine games with the Inferno and posted six points (5g-1a) with four penalty minutes.

The Columbia Inferno is home this Thanksgiving weekend, playing the Florence Pride tonight at 7:30pm and on Friday, November 28th they face off against the Augusta Lynx.
