
Wranglers trade with Toledo for Bergin

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today a trade with the Toledo Storm, obtaining forward Kevin Bergin for future considerations and cash.
Kevin Bergin, 23, enters his fifth season of professional hockey. Bergin split time between the Greenville Grrrowl and the Toledo Storm last season, posting career highs of 19 goals and 35 assists for 54 points in 71 games played. The feisty forward also chipped in 110 penalty minutes. For his career, the Montreal, PQ native has 38 goals and 67 assists for 103 points in 234 games played, all in the ECHL.
The Wranglers now have 23 players on their roster. Bergin joins goaltenders Mike McKenna and Marc Magliarditi, along with defensemen Mike McBain, Christian Chartier, Tim Hambly, Lee Green, Tyler Sloan and Scott Schoneck. Also signed are forwards Chris Stanley, Dan Tudin, Dustin Johner, Darren Lynch, Chris Neiszner, Dana Lattery, Evan Schwabe, Thomas Bellemare, Shawn Limpright, Marco Peluso, Jordan Cameron, Nick Anderson, Adam Huxley and Todd Alexander.
The Wranglers will practice on Tuesday, October 11th from 9:00 am-10:00 am at the Las Vegas Ice center on 9295 W. Flamingo Road. Practice will be open to the public.
The Wranglers will open the 2005-06 home season at the Orleans Arena on Tuesday, October 25th at 7:05 pm against the Utah Grizzlies. Wranglers' ticket locations are the Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast and South Coast (opening in 2006) or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers. Las Vegas starts the 2005-06 season on the road at Florida on October 21st at 4:30 pm (PST).
