
World famous grand master C.S. Kim to drop first puck of season!

The Stingrays are proud to announce that Grandmaster Kim will be at the season opener on Saturday October 22 to drop the first puck of the season. The puck will actually be kicked out of a block of ice in a ceremony before the game.
Grandmaster Kim is a member of the Karate Hall of Fame and one of the highest ranking martial artists in the world. Some of his staggering list of accomplishments include: 1970 Undefeated World Champion, instructor to film actor Chuck Norris, and 1995 Blackbelt magazine man of the year.
Master Kim is in town for an open martial arts clinic at the MUSC Wellness Center Gymnasium from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm on Oct 22nd before coming to the Stingrays game that evening. Master Kim will be joined by Master Glenn J. Arnold of Mt. Pleasant Karate.
The students of Mt. Pleasant Karate will be participating in a kick-a-thon to prevent juvenile crime on the concourse at the North Charleston Coliseum before the game. Their goal is to help complete more than 10,000,000 kicks for Juvenile Crime prevention as part of Project Action.
