Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Today the Bakersfield Condors launched a new website just for kids- www.condorkids. com. The new site was designed by Condors webmaster, Jason Best and Director of Community Relations Mikie Hayhurst. The site features a kid-friendly design that includes team news, hockey's most common questions and answers, facts on the California Condor, player bios, games and cool downloads. The site contains downloads such as a condor paper airplane, mascot coloring pages and computer wallpaper and screensavers. Condorskids.com has new puzzles and trivia such as Colonel Claw'd's Advice, a word search and a Condors version of the classic match game, concentration.
We're really excited about the new site," said Hayhurst. "We wanted to develop a user-friendly website for our younger fans. Condorskids.com is easy to navigate and offers interesting information and special games. We encourage kids and parents to log on and check it out."
Throughout the season the Condors will continue to add new features including a photo gallery of community events, complete player bios and a link to the community calendar.
