
Wranglers lasso Ice Dogs, 3-2

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® defeated the Long Beach Ice Dogs 3-2 in front of 6,218 fans at the Orleans Arena on Friday night. Wranglers' forwards Chris Neiszner, Joe Tallari and Kelly Czuy each scored a goal in the win. Forwards Bo Cheeseman and Ash Goldie each scored goals for Long Beach. Goalie Marc Magliarditi made 33 saves for the Las Vegas win. The Wranglers will play in Utah next weekend on Friday, January 18th at 6:05 pm (PST).
In the first period, center Chris Neiszner scored the first goal of the night at 3:25 for the 1-0 Las Vegas lead. Left wing Joe Tallari scored his third goal of the season at 18:10, extending the Wranglers lead to 2-0.
In the second period, forward Kelly Czuy scored his sixth of the season on the power play, lifting Las Vegas to a 3-0 lead at 3:10. Ice Dogs' forward Bo Cheeseman scored the first goal of the night for Long Beach at 12:48, trimming the Wranglers lead to 3-1.
In the third period, Long Beach added their second goal of the evening just 32-seconds into the period as Ash Goldie netted his 12th goal of the season from Chris Collins and Brian Schwartz, cutting the Wranglers lead to one.
The Wranglers now head into the all-star break with their next game on the road in Utah on Friday, January 18th at 6:05 pm (PST). Las Vegas returns to home ice on Friday, January 26th at 7:05 pm to host the Idaho Steelheads.
