Fresno Falcons News Release

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that right wing Jonathan Tremblay has been recalled by the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League. Tremblay joins Falcons' teammates Brady Leisenring and Josh Prudden on Worcester's active roster.

Tremblay is one of just five players to appear in all 32 Falcons' games this season. He has tallied one assist and 63 penalty minutes in those 32 games. The third-year pro has played in one AHL game during his career, appearing in one game for the Cleveland Barons in 2004-05. Tremblay was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the seventh round (#201 overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Falcons open a two-game homestand against the Utah Grizzlies tonight at 7:30 p.m. Prior to the game, the Falcons are hosting Chalk Talk with Coach Matt Thomas on the concourse at 6:45pm. All fans are invited to attend and learn more about hockey and Matt's game strategy for the Utah contest. Tonight also features the Fresno Falcons 2007 Car and Truck Show on the ice during the first intermission.

Tomorrow night, the first 2,000 fans in attendance receive a free Falcons' hat courtesy of Heald College. Saturday also marks the return of the Madtown Auto Stereo and Accessories Go-Cart Races, and one lucky fan might win a brand new truck during the Bingham Toyota Truck Shootout.

Tickets for all Falcons home games can be purchased at the Save Mart Center Box Office, by phone at (559) 485-8497, on-line at www.ticketmaster.com, or at any TicketMaster outlet. All Falcons games can be heard on 1550 Sporting News Radio and on-line at www.fresnofalcons.com starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show 15 minutes prior to game time.
