Wranglers Announce Blood Drive

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers Professional Hockey team announced today they will be holding a blood drive in conjunction with the Wranglers Midnight Holiday Roundup on Monday December 22nd from 4:00-8:00pm. The blood drive is a joint effort between the Wranglers and the Orleans Arena, and is being run by United Blood Services in an effort to provide blood for residents of Las Vegas at a time when blood donation is generally at a low point.
Those wishing to donate can sign up in advance by contacting the Wranglers office at 471-7825 or by visiting the United Blood Services table at the games on Wednesday, December 3rd and Wednesday December 17th. All donors will receive a $5 off coupon for the game that evening, and will be eligible to win other prizes provided by the Wranglers and Orleans Arena.
The blood drive will be taking place in the meeting room Gold A, the "Wranglers Room" at the Orleans Arena, and is open to the public. Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. For more information about donor qualification, please call United Blood Services at 228-0041.
