
Rivermen Announce AAA "Show Your Card & Save" Program

Peoria, Ill. (December 2, 2003) â Vice President Mike Nelson of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that the team has joined the AAA "Show Your Card & Save" Program, effective immediately.
AAA Chicago Motor Club members may present their AAA membership card at the Carver Arena box office and will receive a 2-for-1 Upper Bowl Ticket offer for all Friday home games, except January 30, 2004 and other selected dates.
The Rivermen travel to Johnstown, Pa. for two road games on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6 against the division rival Chiefs. They are the first two of eight matchups between the clubs this year. Game times are 6:00 p.m. CT.
On Sunday, December 7, the Rivermen host the Cincinnati Cyclones in the first of seven Journal Star/Insight Media Kids Days. Kids 12 and Under receive a $2 Upper Bowl Admission. Dora The Explorer will also appear courtesy of Nickelodeon. There will be $2.50 Kids Meals, which include a hot dog, chips, soda and a Tyler Rennette player card (available in the first 1,000 meals).
It is sponsored by the Peoria Journal Star, Insight Media, Butternut Breads, Kitchen Cooked Potato Chips, Little Caesar's Pizza, Coca-Cola, Raber Packing Company and Regent Broadcasting of Peoria.
