
Florida's Pietersma Suspended Three Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended
Florida right wing Stu Pietersma for three games as a result of his actions
in ECHL Game # 280 at Florence on November 30.
At 11:01 of the second period, Pietersma was assessed a match penalty under
Rule 52 Deliberate Injury of Opponents which by league rule carries an
automatic one-game suspension.
Pietersma is suspended an additional two games under Rule 33(a)
Supplementary Discipline.
Pietersma will miss Florida's game vs. Greenville (Dec. 5), vs. Greenville
(Dec. 6) and vs. Mississippi (Dec. 9).
