
Everblades Remain in First Place after 2-1-1 Road Swing

The Florida Everblades went 2-1-1 on their four game road trip after defeating South Carolina, Greensboro and earning a tie against Florence this past week. Florida forwards Brian McCullough, Keith Anderson and Brent McDonald are currently ranked in the top five in scoring in the ECHL. McCullough ranks first in the ECHL in points with 31 and goals with 14. Anderson is for second in the ECHL goal scoring ranks with 12 goals. The Blades take on the Greenville Grrrowl at 7:30 PM this Friday and Saturday night at TECO Arena to begin a five game home stand. Everblades regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. The games can be also be heard inside TECO arena on 96.5 FM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights.

GAME NOTES: This will be the first meeting between the two clubs this season. The Everblades are 23-11-3 all-time versus the Grrrowl and 10-5-2 at TECO Arena. Greenville ranks in 8th place in the Southern Division. Florida was 3-4-0 versus the Grrrowl last season.

The Florida Everblades (11-3-3) defeated the South Carolina Stingrays (7-8-1) 5-4 in front of 4,636 at the North Charleston Coliseum on Wednesday night. Forward Brian McCullough picked up two goals and one assist including the game winner on the power play in the third period in the Everblades fifth straight victory.
Thursday, November 27 @ Greensboro 4-3 W
The Florida Everblades (12-3-3) defeated the Greensboro Generals (12-6-0) 4-3 in front of 2,802 at the Greensboro Coliseum on Thanksgiving night. Forward Carl Mallette picked up one goal and one assist including the game winner in the third period in the Everblades sixth straight victory.
Friday, November 28 @ Roanoke 5-7 L
The Florida Everblades (12-4-3) were defeated by the Roanoke Express (11-7-0) 7-5 in front of 3,295 at the Roanoke Civic Center on Friday night. Forwards Reggie Berg and Carl Mallette picked up one goal and two assists.
Sunday, November 30 @ Florence 2-3 OTL
The Florida Everblades (12-4-4) were defeated by the Florence Pride (7-9-2) 3-2 at the Florence Civic Center on Sunday afternoon. Forward Gray Shaneberger tied the game with :57 seconds to play but Pride forward Jeff Swez scored the game winning goal for Florence just 1:58 into overtime.
