HERE'S JOHNNY!

The Wolves will host "John Anderson Night," presented by Cancer Treatment Centers of America, at their game against the Houston Aeros at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. The team will honor its longtime head coach, who now serves as head coach of the Wolves' NHL affiliate, the Atlanta Thrashers, with a pregame banner ceremony.

WOLVES HEADLINES

--- JASON KROG: Became the 79th player in the history of the AHL to record 500 points when he potted the game-winning goal against Texas on Friday; he has notched 504 points (169G, 335A) in 429 career AHL outings with 250 (77G, 173A) of those points coming in 176 games in a Wolves uniform ... Paces the Wolves and shares first in the AHL with 44 assists and leads the team and shares fourth in the league with 56 points in 52 matchups

--- PETER MANNINO: Thwarted 63 of 68 shots in three games this week to extend his winning streak to a career-high nine games ... Allowed two or fewer goals in 13 consecutive outings and has surrendered two or fewer markers in 19 of his 22 appearances this season ... Ranks first in the AHL with a 1.76 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage in 22 outings this season (17-3-0)

--- MATT ANDERSON: Collected six points (2G, 4A) in four games this week, which includes matching a career-high three assists on Feb. 10 ... Shares third on the team with 21 assists and sixth with 30 points in 40 contests this season ... Paces team forwards and ranks third overall on the club with a +18 plus/minus rating ... Amassed 22 points (5G, 18A) and a +18 plus/minus rating over his last 16 games

--- BRETT STERLING: Matched a season-high with two goals and four points on Saturday after being held scoreless in the previous three games ... Paces the Wolves and ranks first in the AHL with 29 goals and ranks second on the team and 12th in the league with 50 points in 48 games

--- The Wolves swept a three-games-in-three-days set on the road for the second time this year - and only the third time in franchise history - this past weekend; Chicago has picked up points 10 straight outings (8-0-0-2) to move into first place in the West Division with 70 points (33-17-0-4) through 54 games.

--- The Wolves have outshot their opponents in a season-high 10 straight games; Chicago has outgunned its foes 331-242 during that span.

--- Chicago has potted 16 goals in its last four games after scoring 10 goals in the previous four outings; the Wolves rank third in the AHL with an average of 3.30 goals per game.

--- With Chicago's win at Houston on Sunday, the team matched its road win total from all of last season; the Wolves have amassed a 15-11-0-2 mark in 28 games away from home this season, compared to a 15-22-0-3 record in 40 matchups son enemy ice last year.

--- Chicago has been perfect on the penalty kill in four of its last five games, which includes the its last three outings; the Wolves rank seventh in the league with an 85.6 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (185 of 216).

--- Center MATT ANDERSON's short-handed strike on Sunday was the Wolves first shortie since Dec. 30, a span of 20 games; Chicago shares third in the AHL with 10 short-handed goals this season.

--- The Wolves have converted on seven of their last 35 power-plays over their last seven games; Chicago shares sixth in the AHL with a 19.4 efficiency rating on the power-play (44 of 227).

--- The Wolves notched two goals in the third period to cruise to a 5-2 win over the Texas Stars at Cedar Park Center

--- The Wolves fell behind 19 seconds into the game but ran off four consecutive goals en route to a 4-1 win over the Texas Stars at Cedar Park Center
--- Right wing JOEY CRABB paced the offense with three points (G, 2A) while forwards MATT ANDERSON and ANTHONY STEWART tallied a goal and an assist each
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO turned aside 15 of 16 shots

Tue., Feb. 9

--- Defenseman PAUL POSTMA broke a 2-2 tie with 6:59 left to play to help the Wolves to a 4-2 win over Peoria at the Allstate Arena
--- Right wing JOEY CRABB scored twice, while center RILEY HOLZAPFEL added the other tally
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO posted 22 saves on 24 shots
